Consultancy Service
Strongmar Engineering provides engineering consultancy services to the aerospace and automotive industries for variety of composite and metallic applications. Our team has worked on the most simple pipe bracket on a car, through to complex aerospace assemblies and even formula 1 steering wheels, with some of the largest companies in their respective fields.
Composite Tooling Design & Production
As well as our component design service, an extended part of our package is the design of all necessary tooling to produce the part, whether it be for low volume or large scale production, using a variety of manufacturing methods e.g. Out-of-autoclave, resin-infusion-moulding, or autoclave using metallic, tooling block or composite mould tools as appropriate.
FEA Optimisation
We can undertake finite element analysis of designs to assess their suitability for the application.
Product Prototyping and Testing
As part of our service we can work with you to produce concept parts; taking them from 3D designs to fit-and-form or functional prototype parts, in metallic, composite and 3D printed materials.

Design work will only progresses once you are satisfied we have accurately defined your intended application
2. DEFINE
This is where the barebones of the project are addressed, with all of the relevant criteria documented to allow a clear set of goals to be defined and agreed upon, as well as potential concepts to be discussed.
3. DEVELOP
Once the project is clearly defined, the work passes on to the development phase. At this point we progress your project using the most appropriate methods and technologies to meet your end goals. We will provide you with regular updates, as well as preliminary and critical design reviews as determined during the 'define' stage.
4. DELIVER
Handing the completed work over to the customer is our greatest reward, and we strive to always achieve 100% satisfaction. Integrity and pride are very strong work ethics within our company.
